Catching up

I failed to post pictures from a hiking trip in late fall. It was pretty damn cold, and it turned out to be the first snow of the year. It featured a very close moose encounter at the end of the hike, when Elise and I found ourselves stuck on a trail with a female moose behind us, and an interested male moose trudging up the trail toward us. We had to bail off the trail into the underbrush.
